About the Recipe

Most people miss coffee when they start on AIP. This blend of chicory and dandelion is a great
alternative!

Ingredients

Optional ingredients (can be adjusted to taste)


  • 2 tablespoons coconut milk or coconut

  • cream

  • 1/4 teaspoon carob powder

  • 1-2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey

  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil

  • Dash of cinnamon


Preparation

  1. Place the chicory root powder and dandelion root powder in a mug or a french press.

  2. Boil water in a saucepan or kettle.

  3. Pour boiling water over the chicory root and dandelion mixture. Let steep for 2-3 minutes and then strain.

  4. Pour the blend into a cup and mix with optional ingredients of your choosing.
