Ingredients
Ingredient
1 cup almond flour
1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
½ teaspoon fine sea salt, plus extra for sprinkling
⅛ teaspoon garlic powder, optional
⅛ teaspoon dried herbs, such as rosemary or thyme, optional
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon olive oil
Preparation
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, combine almond flour, ground flaxseed, sea salt, garlic powder, and dried herbs (if using).
Add the water and olive oil to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll it out to about ⅛ inch thickness.
Remove the top sheet of parchment paper. Using a pizza cutter or sharp knife, cut the dough into small squares or rectangles.
Transfer the parchment paper with the cut dough onto the baking sheet. Space the crackers at least 1 inch apart.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle with salt. Let them cool completely on the baking sheet. The crackers will crisp up as they cool. Store in an airtight container for up to one week.
