Avocado, pea & lime smash, charred za’atar broccoli steak with zesty herb sauce. Incredibly healthy, anti-inflammatory, low in carbs, dairy and gluten free. Serve with your favourite protein as a side or just as is! 💕

Avocado pea smash:


  • 1 ripe avocado

  • Juice of 1 lime

  • 1 clove garlic

  • 1 cup peas (cooked and cooled)

  • Blitz all together in food processor and season!


Herby sauce:


  • 1/4 cup parsley

  • 1/4 cup coriander (or more parsley and mint)

  • 2 tbs mint

  • 1 garlic clove

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • 2 tbs olive oil

  • 1 tbs za’atar

  • Water to thin

Preparation

Avocado pea smash


Step 1:


Blitz ingredients all together in food processor and season!


Herby sauce:


Blitz all together with blender, season and add more water as needed.


Broccoli steak:


1 large head broccoli cut into steaks, drizzle with olive oil and za’atar. Grill on bbq or grill plate till nicely charred. Season.
