About the Recipe

This delicious blueberry smoothie is a refreshing, nutrient-packed drink perfect for breakfast, a post-workout snack, or a healthy treat. It combines the sweetness of blueberries with the creaminess of yogurt and the energy-boosting power of bananas.

Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries

  • 1 ripe banana

  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)

  • 1/2 cup almond milk (or your preferred milk)

  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)

  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

  • A few ice cubes (if using fresh blueberries)

Preparation

Process:

  1. Prepare the Ingredients:

    • Wash the blueberries if using fresh ones.

    • Peel and slice the banana.

  2. Blend:

    • Add blueberries, banana, Greek yogurt, almond milk, honey (if using), and vanilla extract to a blender.

    • If using fresh blueberries, add a few ice cubes for a chilled smoothie.

  3. Blend Until Smooth:

    • Blend all the ingredients on high until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

  4. Taste and Adjust:

    • Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness or consistency as needed. Add more milk for a thinner smoothie or additional honey for sweetness.
