About the Recipe

Full of vitamins and minerals your gut will love, this colourful salad will make you feel great.
As always this one is anti-inflammatory, low gi for happy blood glucose, gluten and dairy free and all plant based! Happy days!

Croutons

  • 1 cup almond flour

  • 1 tbs ground flaxseed

  • 1/4 cup any milk (I use almond)

  • 1 tbs olive oil

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp mix dried herbs (I used thyme and parsley)


Crumbly Bacon

  • Firm tofu, pressed to release excess liquid

  • 2 tbs tamari

  • 1 tbs maple

  • 1 tbs apple cider vinegar

  • 1 tsp liquid smoke

  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper


Caesar Slaw

  • 1/4 red cabbage

  • Brussels

  • Fresh herbs

Preparation

Step 1


Croutons

Just mix and bake in moderate oven until nice and brown!



Step 2


Crumbly Bacon

Crumble up the tofu then mix with all marinade ingredients. Set aside in fridge for at least 15 min. You can air fry it, oven bake it or pan fry it until crunchy!



Step 3


Caesar Slaw

Dressing is a blend of: 1/2 cup good oil mayo (use vegan for plant based), 2 tsp capers, 2 cloves garlic, 1 tsp Dijon, 1 tsp Worcestershire, 1/4 cup olive oil. Then seasoned to taste.



Step 4


Once your elements are ready mix mix mix and done!
